I have been living in St. Louis for almost 12 years now (I was born here and moved when I was 6, then moved back here when I was 24—more of that at another time), and I love the fact that my city has fabulous shopping opportunities. Whether it’s a major department store chain, pricey store, or quaint boutique, the shopping available in my area is pretty good compared to other cities. But one thing we were missing was a Ross Dress For Less. When I was living in Florida, Ross was one of my favorite stores to shop where I could get some pretty nice designer duds at a low price. I missed having a Ross store at my fingertips, so when I saw they were building one not too far from me in Chesterfield, I exhaled triumphantly.
A Ross is coming to St. Louis!
Last Friday, I was invited to a Ross Blogger Breakfast Event in which selected bloggers were able to learn more about Ross Dress for Less during a fabulous breakfast. We also had the opportunity to attend the soft-opening of the Ross Dress For Less in Chesterfield and pick out some items before the grand opening event which was taking place the next day.
Ross Dress For Less isn’t just for clothes for the family—it also has a pretty impressive Home and Bath section, which I know I will be visiting a lot over the next few months as I am trying to decorate my master bedroom. Ross is kind of like a one-stop shop where you can get almost everything you need for your fam—shoes, sporting goods, some tech, health and beauty items, and even food!
Take a peek at a few of the home furnishings that were available at Ross during the soft opening. There are also photos of a few items I got during my Ross Dress for Less mini-haul on Friday. The prices and items available were amazing!
Check out this fabulous pink velvet sofa that was in the store. How fab is that?
Ross Dress For Less has these cute cart placards that stop people from taking your cart while you are shopping 🙂
These scented candles were perfect for my bedroom. And they were only $4.49 a piece
This spiffy leather ottoman was only $59.00. I had to get it! It matched my bedroom furniture perfectly!
And just in case you didn’t believe me, the price is in the pudding.
Yay! St. Louis FINALLY has a Ross Dress For Less. Yayness!
Ross Dress For Less is now open in the St. Louis area in Chesterfield (Boone’s Crossing) and Fairview Heights, Illinois.
Do you like shopping at Ross?
I, The Cubicle Chick, received a gift card to shop at Ross Dress for Less during the aforementioned event. The opinions in this post are all mine. Thanks to Brittany M. for the invite!

I’d be lost without Ross, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls in my life. It’s my shopping trifecta.

I lived in California for 5 years in the 90s and absolutely loved Ross!!! So glad they are here, and will be visiting. Wonder what took them so long! That’s just another stop at that shopping center for me, so it’s on!

They just opened up one by my house…gotta hit it up! I use to frequent Ross in California when I briefly lived there.
