Yesterday, I bravely went back-to-school shopping with my kiddos. I wasn’t really looking forward to this adventure— shopping with a six year old and a sixteen year old can be a cumbersome task. And it can also be an expensive feat to say the least. I went to the mall with a budget in mind and I vowed not to go over that figure. Usually, I tend to buy more than I planned on. This year, however, I was surprised at the amount of bargains I found:
At the girls clothing store Justice for Girls, I bought several outfits for my daughter for just $25.00! (40% off sale items!)
My son was able to buy one get one item free at Pac Sun and Hot Topic because he is a member of their Frequent Buyer Program.
At Hollister, my son found shorts for $20 each, which is a steal for that store.
And at Children’s Place, you received 10% off of your total purchase.
I saved so much money this year on clothing for back-to-school. And, because it was the Missouri Tax Free Holiday, I didn’t even come close to going over my budget.
Back-to-school steals and deals and such are easy to find this year. Get out, price compare, and have fun shopping for your children!
Here is the haul for my 6 year old who is entering the 1st grade. All shown in these pictures came to a grand total- $102.00
