When I first heard about OneNote TripBook, I was a little confused. I didn’t understand what its purpose was or how to use it. But after learning how to create my own TripBook utilizing it during my virtual trip to Beijing, I found that OneNote is a great tool to use.
What is OneNote? It’s a Microsoft program that allows you to make a virtual scrapbook for any subject you are interested in. Let’s use my faux trip to Beijing, for instance. I can highlight my trip, add links to destinations, add tips, photos, and more—OneNote is kind of like a notebook where everything you need is all in one place.
Microsoft OneNote is easy to use—if you have used Microsoft Word, then you can use OneNote with relative ease. You can import pictures from your photo gallery in a snap, add text and change fonts and colors, and make your OneNote as personalized as you like.
Below is a snapshot of my OneNote TripBook of my virtual trip to Beijing, China:
I created this OneNote TripBook in no time. It was fun to be as creative as I’d like utilizing all of the tools that were at my fingertips. I can also share your OneNote project online, which is great when sharing with family and loved ones in other locations.
What a great way to chronicle your trips and excursion and share it with your friends and with the world!
