Okay, so I get it—Kim Kardashian is every man’s dream woman. She is curvaceous, exotic, simply stunning to look at, and has a hot body. She is also rich and famous and has the world in the palm of her hand. And even with Kim’s effortless (insert snicker here) “perfection”, there is one thing that Kim got wrong. And that, my friends, is Skechers Shape-Ups.
I’m sure you’ve seen the Super Bowl ad of Kim, ponytail affixed, sweaty, sexy, laying on her back as she says good bye to her hunky personal trainer. She doesn’t need him any more because she’s got Skechers Shape-Ups—built like Herman the Monster shoes, the clunky shoes does nothing for the fashion elite—or even women like me who aren’t fashionistas, but not lames either. I have never seen Kim strolling about Beverly Hills flanked by the paparazzi in these Skechers Shape-Ups, nor will we probably ever see her wear them, unless it’s attached to her receiving a check for her appearance in them.
And this is when the brands get it wrong. We are not stupid. Kim K wouldn’t be caught on Rodeo Drive with these clunkers—but we are supposed to wear them? At least be realistic with your brainwashing tactics, why don’t you.
Even Kim K. can’t made Skechers Shape-Ups look fabulous. Which is a shame, because if anyone could do it, it would be her. But the world isn’t fooled. FAIL to Skechers.

I think those shoes are awful. I did try them on once (my mother-in-law has them) and they actually do what they claim – for what I could see/feel. But yeah, I agree with you…never in this world would Kimmy wear them….

Kizzy, that is what gets me about celebs. They hawk products that they would never use unless they were getting paid. We all see right through it, though, but brands continue to use celebs to tout their products—even when it’s clear it’s not a good fit.
Kizzy says
WE see right through it, but I’m sure a lot of her fans ran to the store to go buy themselves some Skechers. Sad…

My goodness that woman is beautiful! Ugly shoes but what a gorgeous woman! A lot of middle-age women will buy those shoes though. They going to think they are the sh*t too. I think my mom have some of those shoes.lol

they need to burn Sketcher’s shape ups, they are horrid. The reebok easy toners are pretty easy on the eyes & they do the same thing. My mom has a pair & I wore them to the store & I felt the burn. The commercial was completely wack as ell though, total fail, bad shoe, bad commercial. shaking my head
