You may have heard the term Galentine’s Day, but do you know what it means? According to Dictionary.com, Galentine’s Day is observed on February 13th, the day before Valentine’s Day, and it celebrates platonic friendships, usually amongst women. Made popular during the last several years, it is also about celebrating sisterhood and our bond that cannot be denied.
Your Galentine’s Day festivities should be fun, festive, and full of friendship. I am sharing How to Have a Fab Galentine’s Day Celebration—use them for your fete for a memorable event.
House Party
Gather the girls over for a party and unwind and let loose! Send invites, and have your girls come over for a small house party filled with music, food, and drinks! What is better than to have your besties surround you while uplifting one another with food, wine, and song?
Chocolate Fondue
Creating a Chocolate Fondue station is a fun and interactive way to have fun while coating fave fruits with chocolate? Strawberries are always a good idea, but you can also put chocolate on pineapples, grapes, and more.
I love using Bakers Dipping Chocolate, which makes it easy to dip and go! Set your station up with various fruits, have the dipping chocolate on hand, some sprinkles, and don’t forget the fondue sticks. I found these heart-themed sticks at the Dollar Tree, and they worked well.
Set up a Chocolate Fondue Station for your Galentine’s Day Celebration for fabulous fun–and yum!
Sweets for the Sweet
Speaking of strawberries, how about some sweet treats for your gal pals? Try making these Mini Strawberry Shortcakes using Dessert Shells, strawberries and whipped cream. You could even add chocolate sprinkles or chocolate syrup to the mix.
