Back in October, we appealed to our readers and followers to complete 2015 TheCubicleChick.com Working Parent Survey. For the past 5+ years, I’ve been writing and sharing content geared towards working parent families, and I want to make sure that I stay on top of the issues and concerns that interest you. This survey is a way to do that, plus serves as concrete data that can be used to assess professional parents.
Now that we are into a new year, I wanted to release my findings. While some of the answers surprised me, the data shared in the survey shows that while many employers are stepping up their game when it comes to working parents and their needs, a lot of work still needs to be done.

Thoughts:
While most employers are offering benefits and competitive salaries, more working parents are not satisfied with their employer, or are unsure if they are or not. What is good is that more employers are offering paid medical and maternity leave, which is an awesome trend to see. More working parents feel that they are being paid their worth and seem to have more time to spend with family. While all is not perfect for working parent families, things are looking up.
Here’s to a wonderful 2016, and I will be back later this year with another survey for TheCubicleChick.com 2016 State of the Working Parent.
What are your thoughts on the findings in the survey?
P.S. Congratulations to Amy Blakemore. You’ve won the $50 Visa gift card for completing the survey!
