If you are looking for a quick and festive craft idea for St. Patrick’s Day, I’ve got you covered. These leprechaun inspired Four Leaf Clover Straw Toppers are not only fun for the kids, but can make a creative place setting for entertaining, or a sweet after school snack that they will love.
This DIY is pretty simple to make and doesn’t take up too much time either. You will need the following items:
- green card stock or construction paper
- scissors
- hole punch
- glass bottle or milk bottle
- green bendy straws
- Lime Kool-Aid
- chalkboard labels (optional)
To assemble, simply cut out the four leaf clovers using this template. Once completed, use the hole punch to punch a hole in the center, then put the bendy straw through it. Once done, stick in a glass bottle or milk bottle filled with a green liquid (I used Lemon-Lime Kool-aid).
Voila!
You can create a nice centerpiece by using an old fashion “milk crate” to serve the drinks in. Perfect for parties and such.
