Labor Day is one of my favorite holidays. For starters, it usually occurs on or around my birthday, which is an added party bonus. It also ushers in my most coveted season of all, autumn. It signifies that summer is coming to an end and soon, pumpkins, Fall leaves, and cooler temps will be entering our landscape. It’s the most wonderful time of the year (IMO).
Of course celebrating oftentimes includes a little spirits. A well-made adult beverage is par for the course, and since the fab folk at Ketel One sent me a few Labor Day cocktail recipes, I thought I would share them with you.
If you are attending a soiree, BBQ, or house party shindig, these recipes will come in handy.

I’ve seen a few cucumber vodka drinks when my husband watches Food Network etc. It makes me want to try, but I wonder if it’ll taste weird. We have a cucumber in the fridge, so I may be a little adventurous this weekend since we are staying close to home.

Cucumber drinks are an acquired taste. I know a lot of spas use cucumber and mint water as refreshment, and I love it. I’ve had a few cucumber drinks with alchohol and they are hit or miss. This recipe looks good though. Will be trying it this weekend 🙂
