With the passing of Memorial Day, the unofficial start of summer is here! Getting the kiddos moving and keeping them active during the summer months can be a chore, especially since school is out and there’s so much technology. Video games, computers, and other gadgets can make for inactivity. HERSHEY’s is committed to helping promote an active lifestyle, and are sponsoring HERSHEY’s Family Play Days across the country. Here in St. Louis, I will be on hand for HERSHEY’s Family Play Day, which is being held this Wednesday, May 29th—for more information on that event, click HERE.
In addition to hosting HERSHEY’s Play Day St. Louis, I am also giving away a prize pack of some pretty neat goodies!
The HERSHEY’s Family Day Prize Pack is as follows:
- Play Activity Cards
- Nike $50.00 Gift Card
- Sidewalk Chalk
- Jump Ropes
- Soccer Ball
- Softball
- Frisbee
- 1 bag HERSHEY’S Kisses Brand Chocolates
This giveaway is open to all of my readers, so make sure to enter. This giveaway ends Wed., June 11th at 7pm CST, void where prohibited. To enter to win, simply leave a comment below stating how you and your kids plan to stay active this summer. The winner will be selected at random and notified via email, so make sure to leave a valid, working email address when commenting. If the winner doesn’t claim the prize within 48 hours, an alternate winner will be selected.
Please make sure to follow HERSHEY’s and The Cubicle Chick on FB for updates!
How do I plan to stay active this summer? I will be doing yoga, taking neighborhood walks, and getting some swimming in at our neighborhood pool. Staying active is a part of being healthy and instilling good habits in our kids.
Happy summer, everyone!
