On the Scene: Fabulous Mary Kay Look for Girls Night Out

A few weeks ago, I brought you a video tutorial on how to achieve a Hollywood Red Carpet look with the Fall Hollywood Mystique trend from Mary Kay®. While getting ready for a night out on the town with my girlfriends, I decided to duplicate a portion of the look, minus the bold red lip, to create a fabulous and fun look for an evening out on the town.

Going out with my girlfriends calls for me to snazzy up my look a bit. But depending on my mood, I don’t always want to be bold or brash. To create the look you see here, I toned down my lip and eye color to make a more neutral palette that is still playful and spontaneous. Depending on the outfit, a bold red lip can clash, so I played it safe with some lip-gloss instead.

Wearing a black blouse and slacks with my favorite pair of black and brown booties, I stepped out looking ready for what the night had in store. My girlfriends and I started with dinner and then walked through the Central West End, which is a popular destination located here in St. Louis that is full of restaurants and nightspots.

I loved the look because not only did was it fit for the nightlife, but could easily transition from the office cubicle to the evening out without much effort. And with Mary Kay®, little touch up is needed to last the whole day and evening. The line is made for long lasting wear.

For expert application, make sure to blend your eye shadow colors to create a polished look and add eyeliner and mascara for drama. To contour your face, add blush to accent your cheekbones, and finish with powder to set your look.

With Mary Kay®, it’s easy to go from day to night without much fuss. And because the colors give you style with a little drama, you are certain to turn heads wherever you go. Check out my look and let me know what you think!

Below are the items used for my Girls Night Out look:

Mary Kay® Compact Pro (eyeshadow, blush)

Mary Kay® Compact Mini (eyeshadow)

Mary Kay® Eyeliner in Black

Mary Kay® Ultimate Mascara™ Black

Mary Kay® Nourishine Plus Lip Gloss™ in Pink Luster
