Today marks the celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr., and his ‘Dream’ of all of us co-exisiting in society as equals and as one. It’s important for me to help instill dreams and goals for my children, so they grow up knowing that with hard work and determination, anything can be in their reach.
Last weekend, my daughter and I worked on a Dream board (or vision board) activity, to help her visually see her goals. It was something fun for us to do, but also was a lesson in teaching my daughter to dream and visualize what it is she wants. Even though she is 7, she isn’t too young to have goals.
Below is a video of the how we made her dream board. Enjoy! And I appreciate your ‘likes’ for the video.
