“What would you do if I sang out of tune? Would you stand up and walk out on me? Lend me your ear and I will sing you a song. I will try not to sing out of key…” —The Beatles
Real friends, true friends, life long friends are hard to come by these days. Everyone is looking out for themselves and for what people can do for THEM. True friends are hard to find. I can say that I have been blessed this past year or so by having some really good people come into my life. I don’t know what I would do without them.
I have discussed my #Sistatribe before—how we act as accountability partners and we bounce ideas off of one another and share our hopes and dreams. Nothing was more true about the definition of our friendship when this weekend, I launched my second annual Show Me the Blog Social Media and Blogging Conference. My friends were right there, right beside me, helping me, being supportive. Two of them came in from way out yonder, and one flew in the day before conference to help me at her own expense. I was so overwhelmed with happiness that I didn’t even know how to put it in words. It was awesome!
I hope that I can be as supportive as they have been to me.
Thank you, Andrea, Kesha, and Roshini for being a friend!
