BlogHer this past weekend was amazing. I am sure that you have grown tired of my tweets, FB status updates and endless blog posts about one of the biggest blogging conferences in the world, but dammit, it was THAT good. I don’t know why I hadn’t been in year’s past, but I promise you that this will not be the last year of me attending.
I am already making plans to go to BlogHer ’12 which will be in the NYC next August.
Many people have blogged their recaps and are giving you the details via their blogs of what happened during the past few days, so I won’t continue to follow the pack. But I will throw up three of the highlights of my weekend in San Diego. Pictorially speaking, they are pretty dope!
Check ’em out!
Yes, that babe with me is none other than E!’s Giuliana Rancic. She had on some fly midnight blue suede heels that aren’t seen in the picture. Up close, she was looking like a fashionista with impeccably applied make-up—that face was BEAT! She was kinda sorta really nice, too.
Because my 7 year old daughter thinks I’m the coolest mom alive, I took a picture with Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster and Elmo respectively. Afterwards, we broke out into the Cupid Shuffle, and let me tell you, Cookie Monster can do a mean Cabbage Patch!
That hot mama next to me is my blogging BFF Robyn. We are both from St. Louis and traveled 1,000 miles to only bump into one another the day before BlogHer officially began. What are the odds of us running into one another without aids of texting or tweeting within 2 hours of me touching down in San Diego? All I could hear was her voice, “Hey Cubiclleeeee Chiiccckkkk” in the convention center and I knew a piece of home was nearby! We took this picture at my sitting spot shortly after we found one another. I love her!
Yes, there was Giuliana Rancic who is my red carpet BFF (in my head), the Sesame Street folks help me score points with my kid, and Robyn is an awesome person to be around. Period.
It doesn’t get no better than that!
