It was a dark and stormy night.
At least that’s how most Halloween movies begin, right? Well, I can’t say that I am the definitive Halloween expert around these parts, but I know my share of goblin fare. Halloween is a frightfully fun time, spent best watching movies once you’ve aged out of trick-or-treating (and let’s face it—who’s trick-or-treating these days?).
I’ve compiled a list of Fun Halloween Movies to watch this year, and you may even want to watch them even when it’s not October. It’s a mix of family inspired flicks alongside some older adult horror that’s just for the older set.
Here’s my list:
It’s a Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown
The Nightmare Before Christmas
[ Read: Team USA Olympics Gymnastics DIY Costume ]
Us
The Addams Family (1991)
Teen Witch
The Exorcist
Poltergeist
The Invisible Man
Antebellum
Pet Sematary
I am sure that I’ve missed a few Halloween movies, so please feel free to leave your picks and selections in the comments. What are your Halloween plans? We’ll be making it a movie night for sure!
