Are you looking for a fun and easy DIY gift idea that you can make with the kiddos? Check out my Dipped Kit Kat Mason Jar Holiday Gift Idea.
When it comes to the holiday season, I am always scurrying around to try to find tokens of appreciation for everyone on my list including neighbors, teachers, coworkers, and holiday party hostesses. I began thinking about making something with dipped chocolate, similar to what I’ve done in the past with my Dipped Chocolate Pretzels for Valentine’s Day.
Dipped chocolate is a easy way to transform treats that you already love, including strawberries, pretzels, and cookies. How would it work if I used a candy like Kit Kat with the dipped chocolate to make a holiday treat fit for giving?
That’s how I came up with my Dipped Kit Kat Mason Jar Holiday Gift Idea. It’s super easy—and is a great activity and recipe to create with your family.
Here’s what you need:
- Kit Kat (4 to 5 bars)
- Bakers White Chocolate Baking Bar
- Sprinkles (holiday colors like green, red, etc.)
- Mason jars with lids
- Chalkboard labels
- Chalkboard pen
Let cool in the fridge for an hour.
Take the bars and add them to a mason jar and affix with a chalkboard label addressed with the recipient’s name. Add a bow for extra pizazz!
You can use this idea with other candy bars like Twix. You can also make these Dipped Kit Kat’s as snacks for the kids during the holiday season, or serve as a dessert option when entertaining.
