This Midwest chick is feeling the effects of Spring. While we’ve been having our share of rain and severe weather, when the sun comes out, it’s a beautiful thing. My Spring Style as of late is filled with dresses, mostly maxis that are festive for the season.
For the weekend, I like to get fun and flirty. When I first saw this mustard colored number online at Forever 21, I knew I had to have it.
With a ruffled heart shaped neckline, and a belt with simple lines, it’s an attractive dress for the curvier set. Color blocking is still a trend I follow, so this looked called for a bold colored shoe to set off the look. It is a definitive look for my Spring Style.
For this look, the heels with fringes makes it a fabulous option.
One of my favorite dresses is this turquoise number by Rebdolls. I love it’s long length which elongates my stature, and it has pockets! Dresses with pockets always have me at hello.
I paired the dress with a neutral colored heel from Aldo. This is the type of look that you can wear for all sorts of occasions.
I’m holding the book I cowrote called Personal, Professional, and Positive: The 30-Day Challenge—it is available for purchase on Amazon. Click HERE.
Last, but not least is this floral dress, also from Forever 21. It’s fitted at the waist and is pretty long. For windy days, this dress is a safe bet.
This dress hugs the figure nicely and is perfect to wear for a day at the park or a date for brunch. I’ve worn it to both. 🙂
If I had to describe my Spring Style, I would say it’s vibrant, colorful, bold, flirty, and oh so feminine.
