“Life is just a party and parties weren’t meant to last” –Prince, 1999.
Another legend is gone, man.
This one really is hard to grasp. Prince was full of life and was relatively scandal free, and looked to be the epitome of health, despite recent news of him having the flu. So to hear that he was no longer with us is taking more time for me to comprehend.
I planned for my next podcast episode to be about fear and how to overcome it. But when Prince went to join Michael and Whitney in the heavens, I knew I would be remiss if I didn’t share my thoughts and feelings on his career. He lived his life in such a way that was the opposite of fear; so he’s a great case study when talking about letting go of doubts and anxiety to be your best self.
Episode 8 is titled Prince, Mourning, and Being Fearless. You might hear my voice crack a little, and I am not as peppy as I usually am. But I must say that this is one of my best shows up till now.

If you are a fan of Prince, I hope that this podcast episode helps you cope. And if you have been struggling to let go of fear at any level or type, my tips should help you overcome them in order to be the best person that you can be.
There are some who think that some of us Prince fans are being too over-the-top, too emotional over the news, but when a person who created the soundtrack to your life departs the world suddenly, it’s hard not to feel some kind of way.
He may be gone from this life, but he’s somewhere playing up a storm in the next one.
Rest in Purple, my friend.
