Disclosure: As a member of the #RIFamily Ambassador program for Marriott Residence Inn, I have been compensated for reviewing and sharing my travel stay on my blog.
I am a woman who travels a lot. In any given month, I am sure to travel to at least two to three different places, so I love it when I get to incorporate travel reviews with brands that really get me. Last month, I became a member of the Marriott Residence Inn Blogger Ambassador program, and in doing so, I am able to review Residence Inn properties at no charge to me. The first property that I got the opportunity to review was the Marriott Residence Inn Midtown New York City location. Located centrally in a major artery of the city, I was bursting to check out the offerings of the location.
Residence Inn is known for being more that just a hotel. It offers its guests to have a studio or large room with a kitchenette, separate sleeping areas, and more. Depending on the location, it is like living in a small apartment or townhouse, and is perfect for families with more than one child. I have stayed in many Residence Inn locations in my day, and I love the homey feel of it. The Marriott Residence Inn Midtown New York City property was no exception.
For starters, my room was massive in comparison to other NYC hotels. I had a bedroom area that was spacious, a small kitchen area, a balcony, and a nice sized bathroom. The square feet real estate in my room was amazing and just right for a small family. I was traveling by myself on this go ’round, so I didn’t utilize the kitchen, but I would certainly bring my daughter to stay with me the next time we travel as a family to New York. I don’t think I could stay anywhere else now knowing what the Residence Inn Midtown had to offer.
The room was updated with modern fixtures and a soothing color palette.
As far as the hotel lobby and public areas, I found it to be bright yet comforting. The staff at the Residence Inn Midtown was stellar. I could count on the bellman to hail me a cab and give me dining recommendations nearby. And when a friend of mine who was visiting me had a health emergency, the front desk was on hand to help her out and saved the day. They definitely went above and beyond the call of duty.
The Marriott Residence Inn Midtown NYC is a true gem, and I am looking forward to staying there in the near future. With free breakfast in the morning, business center, concierge, high speed Internet, and other must-haves, you can have an amazing stay while you are being taken care of by a property that understands family and business travelers. The location is nearby many restaurants and shoppes, making it the perfect place to stay whether you are traveling for business or pleasure. I always try to think of negatives when I write reviews, but when it comes to this very property, I can’t think of one.
The price point for the room I selected runs about $259.00 per night on average. For more details, visit Residence Inn Midtown New York.

Hi Nesha, thanks for commenting. I am not sure how to get into the #RIFamily Ambassador Program since I was approached by a PR company. But you can utilize the hashtag on social media to inquire. 🙂
