Disclosure: This post is brought to you by Scotties.
I am a proud dog mom and have never had a cat or for a pet, but I have plenty of friends who simply adore felines. So I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to let you guys know about Scotties Bring Home a Box of Softness campaign, held in June, which spotlights cat and kitten adoption.
Scotties has been known for years to be the softest facial tissue around that is also hypoallergenic and made without inks or dyes. They also want to help stray kittens and cats find a home, and with their Bring Home a Box of Softness Campaign, Scotties sponsored select cat and kitten adoptions at The SPCA of Wake County, the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and The Humane Society of Tampa Bay. June was National Cat Adoption Month, and the event in Massachusetts was very successful—they found 55 cats forever homes.
In addition, each organization listed above received $5,000 to help continue their quest of finding homes for stray cats.
Talk about a company putting their money where their mouth is.
Scotties hopes to rally support for this cause and to re-home approximately 100 – 150 cats nationally this year.
Scotties first began their effort to help cats find lifetime homes in 2014.
“There is so much good that we hope to do in 2015 for cats and kittens in need of a good home,” said John Robertson, Scotties Marketing Director. “Whether it’s inviting a new kitten into a forever home or bringing home a box of tissues to a sick child – these are the moments of softness and compassion that should be praised and supported.”
You can support Scotties Bring Home a Box of Softness campaign by purchasing boxes of Scotties tissue. You can also go one step further by adopting a kitten or cat locally in your area and give them a nice and loving home.
Buy Scotties on Amazon or in your favorite local store.
I am stocked up this year with Scotties, as facial tissue is one of the items on my daughter’s Back to School list.
