Soon, summertime will be here before you know it, and if you are like me, then you want to make sure your child stays brain active while out of school. Every summer, I enroll The Chicklet into a few local summer camp programs so that she can have fun and learn at the same time. This year, she will be attending summer school for three weeks (we were given a free week of camp in exchange fore a review), followed by gymnastics camp. She will also be attending Mad Science Summer Camp in Creve Coeur for a week of scientific fun.
I first learned about Mad Science when my now nineteen year old was in grade school. For his ninth birthday, Mad Science came to our home and hosted a Rocket Party. It was wonderful seeing the kids all having a good time while learning. Mad Science has provided quality educational experiences for over years via parties, camps, and after school classes, and they are now offering St. Louis/Eastern Illinois residents the opportunity to win a free week of Mad Science Summer Camp at one of 20 St. Louis/Eastern Illinois locations.

I will also be blogging about my daughter’s Mad Science Summer Camp experience this summer. She is looking forward to attending, and since she is such a science lover, I know this is going to be right up her alley.
