Last year when I was at CES, I was able to test out Polaroid’s newest digital camera. The Polaroid Instant Print Digital Camera had me at hello and I took few shots with it and instantly fell in love. I made a mental note to put it down on my wish list if ever someone was going to purchase something for me as a gift. Fast forward to Christmas Eve, when our family tradition of opening one gift before Christmas Day had me opening what I had been wanting for about 11 months—the Polaroid Instant Print Digital Camera Z2300.
I was speechless!
The camera is a 10 MP camera and utilizes ZINK Zero Ink printing technology, allowing you to take a photo and have it print directly from the camera. Because of the “zero ink”, you don’t have to worry about refilling it. It prints out a 2 x 3′ color photo, which also has a sticky backing. It is perfect for events, when you want to showcase fun moments, and the photos print under a minute.
You can also download pictures from the device to your computer to share with others online or to add to your digital photo album or scrapbook.
The photo quality is okay—for best results, you must use the camera in good light, preferably natural light. So far, I’ve taken photos only inside and have gotten decent results—but I know they would look a lot better with pictures taken in daylight.
The camera comes with 10 ZINK sheets, so you have to use sparingly at first. I purchased refillables at $35 for 50 sheets. Since I am not using this as my main camera (with 10 MP, the photo quality isn’t the best, as this camera wasn’t created to take incredibly sharp photos), I believe that should last me for awhile.
The Polaroid Instant Print Digital Camera Z2300 will run you about $179.00 on Amazon (click here).
I am looking forward to taking this camera on the road with me as a conversation piece to shoot instant printable images that I can share with my friends and travel buddies. It’s a fun camera that gives you instant memories in a snap. I like it!

This would be really fun for a sleep over or birthday party.

This is something that I keep eyeing at purchasing as I love being able to quickly be able to share a printed photo with others! I think now with everyone carrying around an amazing camera in their pocket with cell phones we don’t need printed photos as much but they are still fun to have. I still think I would love this as for certain occasions it would be fun to use!
