It is hard to believe that it is Back to School time. For most of us, summer is coming to an abrupt end as the classroom bells are starting to ring in many schools across the country. If you are anything like me, then you’ve been preparing your child to head back to school. There’s buying of school supplies, school clothes and uniforms, shoes, and other necessities. But it is also a time of year when kids are getting fresh and fly hair wise for the new school terms. Boys are getting crisp new haircuts, and the girls are getting fly incorporating new hairstyles to show off on the first day of school.
My nine year old daughter is definitely into making sure her hair looks fabulous. We are fortunate to have a hairstylist in the family that makes sure that her hair is healthy and manageable for me in between visits. I’ve come to rely on African Pride’s DreamKids line to help keep her hair looking as if she just left the beauty salon. After getting a full sample size of their DreamKids Smooth Edges last August at The Niche Mommy Conference in New Orleans, I’ve been hooked.
School started today and her hair is photo shoot fresh.
And now I can turn you into believers as well. I am hosting a giveaway of haircare items from African Pride here on the blog. This haircare gift pack is perfect to keep your little one’s hair looking fabulous for Back to School and throughout the school year. It includes the following products:

My daughter’s hair is long and thick. In between salon care, I brush it daily and use Olive or Moroccan oil to give it shine. She normally wears it in Ponytail.
