How many of you are currently working at a job that you don’t like? Going through the motions at a job that you loathe and can’t stand, because you need a paycheck. We’ve all been there a time or two. I know before I stumbled on my current gig of being a professional blogger and freelancer, I was also stuck in the daily rut of a job I could not stand. Monster.com understands your plight, but wants you to know that you don’t have to stay at your dead-end job. Let me introduce you to Monster.com’s Wake Up Call with Brian Baumgartner.
Monster.com wants to help you by giving you a Wake Up Call, and showing you that you don’t have to stay at a job you don’t like. With their massive search engine of employment opportunities, you are sure to find something that is much more exciting than what you are doing now.
Monster.com has teamed up with comedian Brian Baumgartner to show just how funny (and important) getting a real-life Wake Up Call is. Life is too short to be work at a job that you don’t like!

A Wake Up Call I got from previous job was when I realized that I missed way too many family events within a year due to multiple business travel trips overseas.

I like TheCubicleChick.com on Facebook. My wake up call at work happened when I got passed up on a promotion by another co-worker. She got the promotion and I couldn’t figure out why for awhile until after she started the new position and I saw her in a new light, she completely uses others ideas and passed them on as her own. I didn’t see it when we worked together but after she left our team it was so noticeable! I started looking for jobs outside the company immediately because I didn’t want to work for somewhere that allowed others to advance that actually didn’t deserve it.

I liked you on facebook as Allisha Gold. Also, a Wake Up Call I received was not being scheduled enough hours. I was barely getting any, so I knew it was time to quit.
