My daughter loves McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets. Whenever she gets the opportunity to nosh on fast food, it’s McDonald’s nuggets that she goes after. I thought we would switch it up by trying out Mickey Dees latest snack treat, McFish bites, since my little Chicklet enjoys fish. I am not a fish eater at all (nor do I eat any seafood–I know, I’m weird), but thankfully my child likes to try different foods. She will eat almost anything edible at least once.
On Saturdays, I usually don’t cook, so it’s either leftovers for us or we head out to eat. Since I wasn’t feeling well and didn’t want to do the sit-down restaurant thing, I picked up some McFish Bites for dinner. So much has been said about McDonald’s latest craze, that I wanted to have my daughter try it herself. She is one of the world’s toughest critics, indeed.
After eating a few of the McFish Bites, she told me that they were “growing on her”. After almost eating the entire Regular Size McFish Bites pack, she then exclaimed that she liked the a lot and wanted to know if we could go back for more tomorrow.
I had to remind her that as much as we adore McDonald’s and eating out, we only do so once a week (or twice if it’s a busy schedule), so she would have to wait until the next time.
My nine year old loved McDonald’s McFish Bites—she is a fan!
For those of you that want to know the nutritional value of the McBites, here ya go:

Within moderation and for a special treat, McDonald’s McFish Bites are a great option.
But don’t just take my word for it. Check them out yourself and see what all the buzz is about at your nearest McDonald’s. They are only here for a limited time, so make sure you get in to try them before they are gone!
