I am such a smartphone enthusiast, it’s not even funny. I love trying out new phones and operating systems to inform my readers and colleagues. You always hear about certain operating systems like Android or iPhone or Blackberry and which one is dominating the market, but true tech enthusiasts understand that certain phones work well with certain people. It all depends on your lifestyle and what your needs from the phone are. Which is why I continue to be impressed with the Windows OS because it is kind of the best of both worlds—functionality meets good design meets fun.
The latest Windows phone that I’ve been able to try is the new Nokia Lumia 920 from AT&T. The phone immediately had me at hello with it’s screen real estate (4.5 in HD) and vivid color. Watching videos and taking pictures with it is a snap, and looks great on the screen.
With AT&T’s 4G LTE speed, the Lumia 920 is also blazing fast. I was able to navigate the tiles between my social networks like Twitter and Facebook with relative ease. It’s also thin and round edges and makes for a phone that is stores easily in your purse or pocket. It’s a little heavier than most phones, so for teens, it’s durable and won’t be lost as easy.
The most exciting thing about the Nokia Lumia 920 is it’s camera that takes amazing photos even in low light. The camera is optical stabilized and allows you to take photos that are clear and blurry free. You also have the ability to charge the phone wire-free with wireless charging.
With a teen’s busy lifestyle these days, I feel that the Nokia Lumia 920 by AT&T is a great phone for teens. It gives everything a teen wants in a smartphone but doesn’t break the bank, and would make an amazing gift for them for the holidays.
