Secret Santa, gift exchanges and gift swaps are just a few ways that people exchange gifts during the holidays. There’s something both fun and exciting about getting a gift from cloaked in secrecy and mystery. I have been selected as one of the bloggers who are participating in Crown Royal’s Pass The Crown Gift Swap. The premise of it is simple—each day, a different blogger must select to either keep the gift given to them (which is emailed to you as a hint), or steal someone else’s gift that has went before you. Each evening, we get a list of who got what, so we know what items we may want to steal.
Today is my turn and I was given this hint:
By the looks of things, it may be a cooking appliance or something of that sort.
So I am asking you, should I keep what’s in my Crown Royal bag, or steal a gift. Gifts given so far that I am interested in are an iPad Mini and a Kindle Fire HD.
And just so you know, #PassTheCrown isn’t just about us getting gifts. It’s also about helping others. For every tweet with the #PassTheCrown hashtag, Crown Royal will send a gift bag to a soldier overseas, as part of Crown Royal Heroes Project. So help us out by using the hashtag so we can make sure that our soldiers get some fab gifts for the holidays!
And may I add, a lucky reader will also get what I get too, by utilizing the hashtag!
You can also purchase Crown Royal bags with 40 characters or less embroidered on the bag, which can make a great personalized gift for only $9.95. Visit CrownRoyal.com to make yours!
So let me know, should I keep my gift or steal?

Might as well keep it, those prime prizes like the iPad Mini will get stolen from you in no time flat!

This gift swap idea is great. It is like a virtual white elephant gift party or yankee swap.
