Despite that fact that I am an Apple user, we also have 3 PC’s in our home. My 8 year old daughter uses a PC to do her homework and play educational games on. She loves her Sony Vaio (which used to be mine), and we also have a smaller notebook PC for travel. Microsoft has a lot to celebrate these days with the unveiling of their new Surface tablet and Windows 8 operating system. And just in time for the holidays, Microsoft is opening pop-up stores across the country, which are perfect for hands-on experiences.
Microsoft will open more than 30 stores here in the United States and in Canada.
According to the Microsoft blog:
The holiday stores will offer customers the opportunity to learn new technology skills, get the most out of their Microsoft-enabled devices and engage with knowledgeable staff to identify the best products for their personal and gift-giving needs.
Here in St. Louis, a Microsoft pop-up store will be opening inside the Saint Louis Galleria on Friday, October 26th. This is a great area for a Microsoft imprint, and will give some competition to the Apple store also located in the mall.
