As a Digital Debutante, gadgets and technology are my thing. I buy a lot of my tech items, and I also receive quite a bit to review and write about on this site. At one given time, I may have 3 or 4 working phones on me, so it can get overwhelming. Of course I can’t continue to use all of those phones on a daily basis, and when I can’t find a family member or friend who needs a new phone, they often sit in my home, unused. Recently, I became acquainted with eBay’s Instant Sale, which allows you to sell your tech item or gadget, which puts money back in your wallet and helps the planet, since you’re not throwing it away.
Many of us have old tech items like laptops, phones, printers, and other gadgets tucked away in a closet somewhere hogging up space and collecting dust. Oftentimes, it’s because we feel they aren’t worth much, or we don’t want to go through the hassle of going through the auction process on sites like eBay. But with Instant Sale, the hassle has been taken out of the equation.
This is how eBay’s Instant Sale works:
eBay has a list of gadgets in their Instant Sale database for you to choose from. You select your item from the list and the condition of the item, and you get to instantly see your cash offer. eBay even pays for the shipping of the item, and all you have to do is print out the shipping label and send it off. Once the item is received by eBay, the money is then put in your PayPal account. Easy breezy!
And did I mention there’s also a mobile app for the iPhone?
What I like about eBay’s Instant Sale is that there’s no bidding or auctions. It’s a great way to get a little dough for that gadget item you are no longer using.
I personally haven’t used eBay’s Instant Sale yet, but I plan on it the next time I am getting rid of my old tech device.
What do you think about eBay’s Instant Sale?
