As a self proclaimed Lacquer Lolita, I always push the envelope when it comes to my nail color choices and design. Last weekend, I scheduled a mommy/daughter pampering session that included manis and pedis. Both of us had a ball of course.
Last month, I showed you my St. Patrick’s Day inspired nails, that featured the sponge nail technique. This time, we coupled the same sponge nail technique with the airbrush machine, which made for bright nails that looked kind of like an Easter egg. It wasn’t the look I originally attended, but once completed, I liked the way they turned out.
Keep in mind, as I always disclaim, my nails aren’t for the faint of heart. But if you are into fun nails that make a statement, then I am your girl.
Here are a few pictures of my ‘Easter Egg’ inspired nails, created with the Holland Collection by OPI’s, Kiss Me On My Tulips:
(Please note: These are my actual nails with acrylic overlay on top of them for strength. Results may vary)
Love the fab pink candle I am holding? It is from the Green Glam line from Candy Flavas!

Love these! I love using the sponge technique when I do my nails at home. I was planning to use it for my Easter nails as well, probably with my mint green polish.

Amiyrah, I love mint green. Both Essie and OPI have some fabulous mint green colors in their collections. Make sure you share your nail look on your blog or Instagram so I can see! 🙂
