Holiday party much? If you are anything like me, you may have already attended several holiday parties with a few more coming up as we approach Christmas. Attending holiday parties are fun, but good manners call for you to make a kind gesture by bringing a gift, beverage, or food item.
Here are my picks for fabulous gifts that you can give your holiday party host:
Eli’s Dynamic Duo Cheesecake Sampler
Last year, I featured Eli’s Cheesecake on my 2010 Holiday Gift Guide: 8 Gifts for the Foodie in your Life List. Their cheesecake is so good, and I had to also feature them again this year. If you are a cheesecake aficionado, chances are your holiday party host or hostess is one too. Made from scratch with only the freshest ingredients, Eli’s Dynamic Duo (half regular cheesecake, half chocolate chip cheesecake) is indeed a gift of sweetness and distinction. It’s absolutely fabulous!
K. Hall Designs Verbena Jar Candle
When I say that this is the best smelling candle that I have ever had (or smelled), I truly mean it. I bought my first K. Hall Designs candle back in 2004 when their store was located in University City, and I haven’t had the pleasure of smelling a candle better than the Verbena candle that K. Hall makes. It’s vibrant, aromatic, and long lasting. And at $25.00, it’s expensive, but worth every penny. I promise you, your holiday host will thank you. And you may even want to buy one for yourself as well.
Michael Buble, Christmas CD
Michael Buble is a fabulous singer and performer. I love his old school jazz sound, and his Christmas album, Christmas, is amazing. This is a great gift for your holiday party host and is something that they can use year after year during the holidays. Timeless and groovy, it’s an CD that will get plenty of play. Retails for $11.88 on Amazon.
Bacon of the Month Club
Who doesn’t like bacon? (ME!) But I am one in only a few who don’t. Which is why bacon would be a great gift to give your party host. The Pig Next Door has a fabulous Bacon of the Month Club that starts at $99.00 and features many premium and choice cuts of bacon. If you want to give a gift that you will be remembered for, the Bacon of the Month Club gift would be the won that wins everyone over.
Holiday Petit Fors
Nothing says the holidays like Petit Fors. Spongecake cut up into little petite squares served with creamy fillings and icing. They are decorative, highly addictive, and a great addition to any party or get together. Giving your host or hostess a gift like this from Williams Sonoma shows that you are old fashioned and filled with holiday festive cheer. Retails for $29.95.
Handmade/Handsewn Apron from Houseful of Nichols
If your holiday party host is a hostess, she would probably love this apron from blogger, Houseful of Nichols. Is a throwback to the 50’s with it’s polka dot swag, but also is kinda trendy and hip too with a little pin-up girl feel to it. I absolutely love this look and plan on ordering one for myself. And it’s made by a stay at home mom, so buy one and show your support! $30.00, Houseful of Nichols.
Show your holiday party host or hostess that you care with these gifts—which are sure to make ’em smile.
I, The Cubicle Chick, have not been compensated to review any of the items above. However, since disclosure is a must, I have been given several of these items for my honest evaluation and critique for consideration for my 2011 Holiday Gift Guide.

I absolutely love the Swagged out Apron from “Houseful of Nicholes”, makes me want to learn how to cook a little more, so that I can cook a little more. Let me go put in an order for one with Starz on it. 🙂 Thanks for the tip.

Love this list! Michael Buble is my own personal singer in my head. I’m a total bacon lover too! LOL – and you know, I’ll be donning one of my aprons for the holidays! Thanks for featuring me.

LOL – I was scrolling down the list thinking yep, that sounds like you, yep, yep, and then what BACON? LOL! It was funny – but I agree it would be a good gift for MOST NORMAL people in the world who like bacon 🙂

LOL. As a pretty good gift giver myself, I don’t always base things on what I like, but what the recipient may like. A Bacon of the Month Club as a gift is a pretty good gift, I’d say 🙂
