The wait is almost over, folks! (Developing: New Season of All My Children will begin Mon., April 29th, 2013 on Hulu. Click HERE to read more!)
Back in September, I announced that All My Children (which was canceled after 40 plus years) would be coming back with new episodes online. But at the time, it was unknown when Prospect Park, the company that purchased the rights to the soap, would begin airing the new shows. I recently learned that the new episodes will begin to appear online on it’s new web home, The Online Network.
The new webisodes will be produced by Prospect Park for The Online Network and will feature some of the original cast members of AMC including Cameron Mathison (Ryan) and Lindsey Hartley (Cara). It is unknown at this point which other original cast members will be joining the show, as others have found homes on other soaps or other programs (see J.R. Martinez who is now a favorite on Dancing with the Stars).
With it now being November, us All My Children diehards are closer to finding out what has happened to our favorite residents of Pine Valley.
Fellow ABC soap opera, One Life to Live, will also make its way to The Online Network when it is taken off the air in January.

I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait until January. I wonder if Erica Kane will be making a reappearance?

Yay! I’m happy this is really in the works. Feels weird coming home to my dvr and no AMC.

I hope they get things together with this idea of having the shows “return” online. It’s not very fair to the audience that’s loved and viewed the show for years to wait aroung, hoping for … (or will it become “hoping against hope”)? And also taht it will not be the ridiculous situation that I read was being toseed around about “Pay Per View” That would be a joke, right? Whatever they come up with … I hope they’ll get things togteher, soon. The actors who could use the work and knowledge that their true fans will stick around … and the fans of decades long TV dramas, they’re waiting on pins and needles.
