Woo wee! Can I tell you that the last week or so has been a draining one? First, my site was hacked. Then I had issues with Google putting a warning on my site. Then, when I did get my site back up and running, it wouldn’t load properly. As someone who needs her blog up and running to create an income, it was rough! So I decided to go ahead and get my site redesigned since I had been putting it off for months. I am not fond of change, but I knew that it was time to move forward with a new layout and color scheme that would be something my readers would enjoy.
So here it is!
As you can see on the new layout, there is a better format, and it is easy to get through to posts on the front of my page instead of crawling through pages to find something that may fit your fancy. I think overall that the new design is more user friendly and easier to navigate.
There is still a lot of work to be done—I want a different font for the titles and there is a lot of stuff on the back-end that needs to be adjusted and organized. But for the most part, this is what my new home will look like—fabulous and pink!
To those of you that have been patient with me while I got everything together on my cube, I appreciate you. Your patience is needed more than you know.
As Pink! would say, let’s raise your glass! What do you think of the new digs?
OOOOOOH! Chile it’s swanky in here … and PANK! *looks around getting my bearings* … where is my room?
I knew you would be my first official sit down guest! And of course, your room is fixed up on the 2nd floor and even has it’s own bathroom with a waterjet bathtub. Only the best for my Glammy! POW!
Different but I like. Question do you still get credit for people who subscribe to your site through Google Reader and other RSS feeds?
Thanks Zoe. I am getting used to it too. I have a hard time with change, LOL. You can subscribe by reader or feed, it will still result as a subscribe for me. 🙂
Cool I’ve always wondered that. And happy early B day missy.
Love the new layout. It’s fabulous!!! Great job 🙂
Yay, Kim, I am glad that you like it. I think this reflects my personality more. Still working on a few things, but loving my fabulous new home thus far 🙂
