Earlier this year, I went to CES (Consumer Electronics Show), and it was a bananas. I am not a techie person at all, but I love seeing new gadgets, especially those that are everyday user friendly and can benefit my family and I. I came in contact with a lot of innovation when I attended and became acquainted with products and electronics that I was not aware of. Add to that the parties and events surrounding the show and the opportunity to get my blog out there to others made it a win/win situation. Celebrities like Common and Lady Ga Ga were in the house as well, so it had a really vibrant feel to the show.
It was a no brainer—I had to attend the next CES.
Last week, I went online and applied for my credentials and ticket for next year’s show, and in just 10 minutes, I successfully registered. You can register for free as an early signup by going HERE as long as you are an industry professional, and the deadline for free registration ends on August 31st. CES 12 takes place January 10th through the 13th.
I received a lot of value at in this year’s show, and I know next year’s is going to be the bomb.com. I hope to see you there!

As a major tech enthusiast, one of my lifelong goals has been to go to CES (I know I am a total dork). Would love to go in the next few years.

Nick, I think you should so totally go to CES next year. It would be like the Super Bowl of tech events for you. Amazing stuff. Plus, I will be there, so of course it will be fun 🙂

I don’t think I have the credentials for this… Not as a “regualr attendee” or as a media type 🙁
Not sure I could rocket AllTayo.com to 1000+ visitors a month by September, lol (like they require…)
Any thoughts?

Tayo, do you work or do consulting or freelancing for other entities? If so you could sign up under that. I wouldn’t sign up as a blogger because they have restrictions ( last year, they did not have those in place so it was easier). I would also suggest you sign up under your web design company. Doing so won’t require any verification and they only ask a few simple questions pertaining to company size and amount of money spent on tech.

I’ll definitely have to look into that (re: web design company)… I could just fudge it about how I need to be at CES do I can learn how to design websites on the 3D monitor, lol
