Now that the weather is reaching soaring temps, it’s time for this ‘Lacquer Lolita’ to get pink and fabulous. I am usually one to wear OPI, but after taking a recent trip to CVS, I came up on several bright colors from Sally Hansen. Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear is promises vibrant color, fast drying, and a protective formula that prevents breakage and helps nails grow.
Pink Boa is a smooth pink color that has a sheen finish but with a pastel quality. If you are looking for a mega bold pink, this color isn’t for you, but if you want a subtle pink that gives color instead and not a nude, then Pink Boa will work.
I love the color, but I will say that the tips of my nails are “transparent” after two coats. I feel after a few days, the tips will begin to crack and look worn, while the rest of the nail will still have full-on color.
Sally Hansen is by no means OPI (in terms of quality), but if you are looking for a drugstore choice that isn’t as pricey, Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear is a great option.

Pretty color! I’ve tried this brand before and completely agree. Great price and colors, but it’s too watery for me when applied, leaving my nails to look as though they need a second coat, even when I’ve already put on a second coat. I always seem go back to OPI.
