St. Louis Children’s Hospital is the preeminent medical center for children in the region. Founded in 1879, it is the oldest children’s hospital west of the Mississippi and the 7th oldest pediatric facility in the U.S. The hospital serves the needs of many children each year and benefits our area in so many ways.
Tuesday, September 21st is the 4th Annual Dining 4 Kids event which benefits Children’s Hospital. The purpose of the event is to help raise funds and awareness about SLCH and its programs. On Tuesday, when you eat at a restaurant that is participating in Dining 4 Kids, at least 20% of the total bill will go to St. Louis Children’s Hospital. There are 65 restaurants in the area taking part in Dining 4 Kids, including my one of my favorite sandwich shops, Sammy Scott’s Sandwiches and More. The event is sponsored by Sauce Magazine, Emmis Communications, and Wells Fargo.
If you are in the St. Louis metropolitan area on Tuesday, please take the time out to dine at a restaurant that is engaged in Dining 4 Kids. For a complete list of restaurants participating, click HERE.
Giving back is an important part of being apart of our community. I hope that everyone who can eats out at a participating restaurant. Click HERE to learn more about Dining 4 Kids.
