Because of the Fourth of July holiday, my weekend began on Thursday evening. I had a great date night in mid-town at Triumph Grill near St. Louis University. This wonderful find was recommended to me by @AngeBird on Twitter. Thanks Ange! Little did I know that Triumph is located right next door to ‘The Moto Museum’, which houses antique and original motorcycles. I am not a motorcycle girl by any stretch of the imagination, but I was in awe looking at these machines. Some motorcycles were over sixty years old. WOWzers.
The food at Triumph Grill was great. I munched on an Angus burger with mushrooms and swiss cheese with a side of homemade cut french fries. The appetizer, though was the bomb! Stuffed mushrooms with a great batter that made my stomach do happy summersaults. Life is good! My date had the chipotle wings, and he didn’t speak much during the date which means they were yummers.
Here are a few flicks from my Weekend Wonderful trip to Triumph Grill:
I also went to the infamous Loop area here in University City on Saturday afternoon and lunched on thin crust pizza at Cicero’s but failed to get any pics of the joint (you can settle for a Twitpic of my pizza) Womp womp. So this is an abbreviated Weekend Wonderful. I bet you can smell the food from your screen!

Everything looks yummy. I was actually thinking about doing a similar post tomorrow simply because my weekend only consisted of food and those were the only pics I took lol.
