First the ‘Balloon Boy’ hoax and now this!
During a New York Rangers hockey game on Valentines Day this past Sunday, a guy proposes to his would be bride on the stadium jumbotron in front of everyone in attendance and those watching on television.
But instead of a happy ending, the woman failed to accept. As a matter of fact, it was quite embarrassing.
Here’s the video:
Well according to Yahoo Sports, the entire thing was a hoax. The couple, it turns out, were paid actors who were hired to give “in game” entertainment. I guess because it was Valentines Day, the Rangers thought it would be a good idea to fake its audience out. Little did they know it would get out in the media.
Why do companies and individuals think they can ‘Punk’ us into falling for these guises? The truth always comes out in the end and THEY are the ones who look like fools ultimately.
It’s getting to the point that I no longer believe anything I see when it comes to reality entertainment or supposed live gaffes (remember Eminem and the infamous Bruno butt snafu on the MTV Movie Awards last year?).
The public isn’t as stupid as you think!
What do you think of all of these hoaxes, fake proposals, balloons, and stunts? Have you had enough? Comment below and sound off!

Yes, I've had enough. Good grief, is there not enough "reality" in the world already, now they have to fake it? However much they paid those people, they'd have been better off just giving out some of the merchandise they overcharge for.

I don’t know if this video is a fake, but proposals in public often fail…
