Addiction is painful for not only the one using, but the ones around them. I know first hand how addiction can effect you. You already know my story of my mother abusing prescription medication. And you know that I have told you that she is still using. I would love to do a reply video. Thanks for doing this. You really had to open up and put it out there.

Yes, you and I are kindred spirits that way. Thanks for commenting. And if you do a video, let me know 🙂

I definitely understand a lot of what you went through as a child, though my frame of reference is a little different. My father and mother separated when I was two years old, and I didn't see him much over the years, until I turned about 17. Though I didn't know it at the time, those years were filled with drug and alcohol abuse, and he is still dealing with those problems today health wise and in other ways. Abuse also put a great strain on our relationship, and though we are rebuilding that, I find that there are several areas of which I am still angry. It's an ongoing process even though today is actually his 10 year anniversary of being clean and sober.
