Did someone say Hershey’s Family Play Day St. Louis?

Yes!

Keeping my family active and healthy has been a mission of mine over the last few years. I have a history of heart disease and obesity in my family, and it is important for me to instill healthy habits in both of my kids. As a family, we incorporate a lot of activities that keep us moving while encouraging one another to make better eating choices. And it has been paying off. I’ve been able to lose a bit of weight, and my daughter is more active than she has ever been before. We try to make it something that is enjoyable for everyone.

So when I was asked to host HERSHEY’s Family Play Day St. Louis, it was a no-brainer. The Play Days are a part of HERSHEY’S commitment to helping people find balance through products and programs that promote their well-being, making every day moments that much sweeter. HERSHEY’s wants to encourage families to play together to establish a balanced lifestyle that can bring the family together while creating an even stronger bond.

Join me for this fantastic and FREE event, where there will be games and activities for all ages, like the Run, Jump, Throw Relay, that will get your blood flowing and your kids laughing. I am so excited to join the event and play some of my childhood favorites.

What’s so great about the HERSHEY’S Family Play Day is that it’s been entirely planned and led by teens; local youth leaders who serve as role models, helping to inspire kids. The event will be held at Lafayette High School in St. Louis on May 29 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will even be HERSHEY’S® low-fat chocolate milk available for everyone to enjoy as a nutritious post-play snack!

The HERSHEY’S Family Play Day is a great activity for the family and an easy way to get your kids involved in active play as part of a lifestyle of well-being, while getting the added bonus of helping to support teen leaders in the community.
